A Burger I Can Get Down With

A Burger I Can Get Down With

Growing up, I was never much of a burger girl. I was pretty loyal to my dinosaur chicken nuggets. It was until I was 12 that I realized that a good burger can really make a great day even better.

If you’re down for a burger then Burger Up is the place for you.

I decided to treat myself to lunch at Burger Up this last Friday. This would be my first dining in alone experience. I was a little hesitant to eat alone inside a restaurant but felt right at home at Burger Up.

While sitting at a community table that could fit eight with two ladies on the far left side and myself on the far right, I took the opportunity to just enjoy people watching. It made me so happy to see everyone in the restaurant enjoying the company they kept with the person or group of people they were with. I think this is a true testament to the atmosphere of Burger Up. It’s a place were there is more then just food is served but also some great conversations.

I’m sure you will feel 100% at ease whether dining alone or with a group while at Burger Up.

Am I the only one that can’t eat a burger without making a total mess?

Am I the only one that can’t eat a burger without making a total mess?

I decided to get the Bison Burger with a side of fried pickles. Normally, I am not a huge fried pickles fan but something in my brain told me to try them, and the did not disappoint. The pickles were cooked perfectly to give a crunch when biting into it, but also have just a little juice to them still. They were coated with a cheddar cheese powder which I think made these fried pickles something to write home about. With the ranch dipping sauce on the side, you can’t go wrong.

After eating a few pickles it was time for the burger. The Bison Burger.

This burger was out of this world. I have never eaten a burger where I didn’t feel absolutely full and greasy by the end of it. The Bison Burger is a beef patty with white cheddar, lettuce, tomato, fried red onion and jalapenos, with a honey dijon aioli. With each bite, I think I loved this burger a little more till it sadly all gone.

I think if I decide to give up my chicken nuggets for a night, y’all could most likely find me with a burger and a side of fried pickles at Burger Up.
